For the first time in history, the world's best dance teams will compete as professional franchises, just like traditional sports teams. These aren’t just crews—they’re organizations built to win championships, grow fanbases, and define the future of dance as a sport.
This is more than competition—it’s a career. The International Dance League (IDL) is creating real jobs for professional dancers, with contracts, salaries, and the opportunity to represent their teams on the world’s biggest stages.
The era of competitive dance as a profession starts now. Meet the six teams leading the movement.
Parris Goebel's renowned dance crew. Super Bowl, Grammys, VMAs, Rihanna, Nike
NBC's World of Dance, Vogue Scandanavia, Viral Wedding Dance over 118M Views
South Korea's Most Popular Dance Crew With Over 26M YouTube Subscribers
World of Dance, Hip Hop International, Vibe Champions. BTS, Enhyphen, etc.
2x World Champion, NBC's World of Dance
Top K-Pop Choreographers. MNET's Street Woman Fighter.
Our competition begins with 6 total teams. Each team will be randomly assigned an opposing team to compete against. This will include 3 sets of 1-on-1 dance battles.
A panel of 9 dance professionals will score each team's performance based on 5 categories: Technique, Choreography, Performance, Musicality, Impression
Each vote per judge is equal to one point for a total of 9 available points per matchup.
The three teams who were awarded the most points in their matchup will advance to the next and final round.
The 3 winning teams of the previous round will now face off against each other, performing a second new routine that is unique from their first.
The final 3 teams are scored with the same rubric, but given a score out of 100. The teams are then ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd! They earn 7, 5, and 3 points respectively toward the IDL championship.
Each team earns 1 point for each judge vote from the heads up battles and the points earned from the final battle. These points will be added to their total series points, leading to a champion at the end of the season.
The Pro Division is the ultimate showcase of elite talent, where the world’s top professional dance teams go head-to-head in an electrifying 2-round battle to determine the event champion.
The Community Division brings the heart of the dance scene to the main stage, where local talent meets the spotlight. Ten adult crews and ten junior crews go all out in an electrifying battle, each fighting for a spot in the top 3.
The energy doesn’t stop at the competition—our Halftime Show takes the event to the next level. A major artist will hit the stage to celebrate the launch of the International Dance League, delivering a show-stopping performance that blends music, dance, and pure spectacle.
Beyond the competition, the event brings unforgettable moments with special performances from top dance creators and branded segments by STEEZY, the leader in online dance education.
